There are mental acuity experts on the Internet, and a lot of psychologists that write books about mind development. However, when you get them into a conversation, or ask them something scientific in nature, you will find that they are not of high intelligence. If someone is an expert in mind development or they are a guru of the mind sciences then obviously they should be working on their own brain before telling anyone else how to achieve higher intellect.
After all, if these mind-development specialists are so great, and if they have all the answers, all the tools, and can sell you all their brain enhancing programs online, then surely they know what they are talking about and they have used these tools themselves and therefore they are now smarter than anyone else. But are they?
It is my personal opinion that you should find out before investing in such mental enhancing products, schemes, or techniques if the person selling them is indeed smarter than you are, and smarter than the other people you know. There is no sense in buying a self-help study guides, a series of DVDs, or books on increasing and enhancing mental acuity unless they work.
Obviously, there are a lot of people selling this stuff, because it is an innate characteristic of humankind to want to become smarter, to get a leg up on the competition and the rest of the world. That all makes sense, but if you are a consumer of such products, make sure there is something behind that curtain before you buy. Please consider all this.
